The Upside
One of the greatest joys of working with the Irish Export Cooperative has been working with SME’s who sometimes struggle to get their head around exporting their particular items. And for all of the issues that seem insurmountable, there is usually a straightforward answer.
Clicktailing.com
Through the Clicktailing programme in the NDRC on 28th May in Dublin, we met up with the 20 brave souls that will be launching there sites in the coming weeks. Each business had been trading for varying number of years, in different industries and with different products, but they all had similar questions. Each cares about their store and what customers will think of them and their products, each has concern for their procedures and all had a fixed eye on costs and price.
We were proud to be asked to deliver a retailers perspective on exporting and all that that entails. Presentation can be found here
This presentation was a little ‘Shopify‘ heavy and was meant to be a practical for those in the programme and not an overview of all that we do, but we were backed up by the services on An Post and DHL on international exporting. It’s crucial to get the help of experts when setting out particularly in this field. Big shout out to Taryn Casey, Fiona Hyland and Mark Kearns for their work in getting the programme shaped to give everyone on the programme the skills and tools needed to get online
We were happy to be asked along and look forward to many more retailers launching their online stores with a little help. If you have any questions on eretailing and shipping overseas, feel free to send us an email and we will be more than happy to help out.
